Yokohama Port
The Heisei period began with the collapse of Japan's bubble economy. The Foreign Office Architects won an international competition to design the Yokohama International Port (top right) in 1994. The structure forms a building that can be entered or walked over, and extends from the surrounding city. Tama Art University (bottom right) had a new library installed inside in this period as well.
