The United Kingdom is made up of England, Scotland , Wales and Northern Ireland so there is diverse landscapes. England is mostly flat or low-lying in the southern part of the country. The north is mostly Mountains and hills. The Geography of Scotland is varied, from rural lowlands to barren uplands. It takes up a third of the island of England as well as 790 surrounding islands which are mostly uninhabited. The Wales is a very mountainous country located on the western side of central southern Great Britain. Northern Ireland is situated under Scotland which is seperated by the Atlantic Ocean. In the center of Northern Ireland is Lough Neagh. It is the largest freshwater lake in Ireland and in the British Isles.
