Guidance Counselor

To Whom It May Concern:

I am very pleased to recommend Shelby Lowe for your position. As her guidance counselor for three years I have watched this young woman develop both academically and personally into a mature individual ready in every way for her college years.
Shelby is bright, energetic, compassionate and genuinely well rounded. Her grades have been consistent in all of her courses, and she has actively participated in a diverse assortment of extracurricular activities ranging from orchestra and National Honors Society to an activity member of her horse drill team.
It is clear to me as I hope it is to you that this young woman, Shelby, is a great candidate, one that would contribute greatly to any job. I recommend her and wish her the very best in all future endeavors.

Thank you,

To Whom It May Concern:

I am happy to have the opportunity to say a few words about a terrific young person.  I have known Shelby Lowe since she began her career at Montgomery County High School, and I am happy to offer her my sincere and enthusiastic recommendation.

First of all, Shelby has done a marvelous job in the classroom.  Her eye-popping 4.14 weighted grade point average is a testament to both her natural ability and her sterling work ethic.  She has proven herself to be exceptionally versatile, excelling in every subject across the curriculum.  It has been so rewarding to watch Shelby develop from an uncertain, slightly insecure, freshman to the impressive young woman that she is today.  I am completely confident that Shelby is prepared for even the most rigorous of college environments.

I had the pleasure of having Shelby as a student in my AP U.S. history class.  She was one of the most outstanding students in the class.  She is exceptionally quiet, but when she had something to say, it was always thoughtful and insightful.  She is also an excellent writer.

Shelby Lowe has truly been a credit to our school, and I am confident that she will continue to excel in her new environment next year.  I am proud to offer her my sincere and enthusiastic recommendation, and I am very excited for Shelby as she begins the next phase of her education.
