Graphic designers or Graphic Artists, plan, analyze and create visual solutions for communication problems. They also produce promotional displays, packaging, and marketing brochures for products and services. They also create logos for businesses.Many graphic designers do freelance work. About 25% are self-employed. A Bachelors degree is required for most entry-level and advanced design positions.

You must think of the customers needs and you must design it exactly how they want it to be made. In 2006, graphic designers held about 261,000 jobs. The growth rate for graphic designers is expected to grow by 10%, in 2006 -2016.

The median that most graphic designers earned were $39,900 in May 2006. The highest 10 percent earned more than $69,730.
