To Whom It May Concern:

Emily May has asked me to write a letter of reference for her, and it is an honor to do so. She is a great student and a fine person. Emily was a student in my Astronomy class at Montgomery County High School. She is a very hard worker, a dedicated student, a natural leader, and an intelligent young woman.
During last year, I became better acquainted with Emily. She set high standards for herself and worked diligently to reach her goals. Her dedication insured that all her work was quality work.
In Astronomy class much time was spent working on laboratory experiments in groups. Emily motivated her classmates, kept them on task, and made sure that all their work was completed to the best of their ability. She has many leadership qualities.
Emily also has interests outside the classroom making her a well-rounded student. She has been involved in several extracurricular activities such as FBLA and Key Club. She is currently the treasurer of Key Club. Emily is also an avid volunteer. She has volunteered at the Kiwanis pancake breakfast, Boo Around Town, Adopt a Highway and Feed the Homeless.
Because of her dedication, leadership abilities, and high standards, Emily will be an asset to any institution of higher learning or business. It is my pleasure to recommend her.

Dear Sir or Madam:

It is my knowledge of Emily as an Accelerated Algebra 3 students that she has the knowledge and displays the abilities that would allow her to successfully complete any goal or task. Emily shows an exceptional ability to grasp and comprehend the knowledge of information that is necessary to successfully complete the tasks that are required of her both in lecture and problem solving.

Emily is one of my top students and thus I am constantly requiring not only more work but also superior leadership skills. Emily has shown her ability of leadership by helping students that fully do not understand the concepts being taught.

I give Emily my recommendation without any reservations of her abilities or qualifications.

Sincerely yours,
Christine Gabbard
Math/Science Teacher
