To Whom It May Concern:

Silly Walks (It's British)

I am writing this on behalf of Luke Spicer, a student whom I've known throughout his four years of high school. Luke is highly intelligent, energetic and dedicated. His attitude toward my class is consistently exemplary, in spite of pressures to the contrary from members of his peer group. While a student in my accelerated English class, Luke’s academic performance has been exceptional; and he juggles its rigors with a full palate of in- and after-school activities, always meeting—and often exceeding—my expectations. His interpretation of the materials we study in class is intelligent and unique, and his high degree of attentiveness and preparedness are made evident by the depth and breadth of his written responses on examinations and in research projects.

I recommend Luke in confidence and can attest to the success with which he will meet while undertaking any endeavor.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

This is my visual version of a musical interlude. It simply acts as a pleasant segway into the next section of the page.

To Whom It May Concern

I am writing a reference letter for Luke Spicer as his Youth Pastor. I have gotten to know Luke pretty well over the past few years and have always been impressed with him. His accomplishments speak for themselves: National Honor Society, GPS 2006, All State choir 2006, Class of Kentucky 2006, Academic All State 1st Team (soccer) and more. These accomplishments show the dedication and intelligence that Luke has.

Luke is very involved in many other areas in life. He is an avid volunteer and has volunteered at the church many times and in many different ways. He has also volunteered for our churches food pantry, adopt a highway and in helping out with his family of 8.

He is also involved in many extra curricular activities besides volunteering. He held a lead role in the 2006 Montgomery High School musical “Beauty and the Beast,” is involved in honor choir, our youth ministry, BETA club, varsity soccer, Tri-M and so much more.

Luke is a very intelligent and talented person and I would recommend him for just about anything.
