Fellowship of Christian Athletes

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes was established at Montgomery County High School in 1992 by Assistant Principal Phil Rison.

Recently in an interview, Phil Rison said his reason for starting FCA was because he had participated in this club while in high school and attending EKU (Eastern Kentucky University).

"The best thing I believe about FCA is the fact that it is a non-denominational activity, you can be of any religion. Also the fact that a lot of people think that you have to be an athlete.   You don't have to be an athlete, FCA is for everyone."-Phil Rison, MCHS Asst. Principal and Athletic Director

With the help of Mike Sexton and Tracy Fugate, both teachers at MCHS, FCA meets every Thursday morning at 7:50 - 8:20.  FCA services are led by huddle leaders.

So, come on, everyone is invited to come and share in the worship and teaching about the Lord our God.
